Roles should be created for me: Om Puri

New Delhi, June 15 (PTI) He has acted in over 200 films till date but Bollywood veteran Om Puri rues the fact that roles are "written" especially for stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and not for an actor like him. The 60-year-old actor, who has two National awards to his credit, said that he too wants to play lead roles like the superstars. "There are hardly any roles written for a veteran actor like me. But roles are written especially for Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan and I have remained a character actor. I should get to play the lead in films," Puri told PTI. ...
