Alcohol major cause of liver diseases in young adults

New Delhi, Jun 20 (PTI) Bollywood actor Imran Khan may be making age an issue of discretion when it comes to drinking but according to medical experts, maximum number of liver damage cases have been found in young adults resulting from excessive liquor consumption. Three hospitals in the city including Medanta - The Medicity, Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Apollo hospital have conducted over 100 liver transplants each in a year''s time and found that 70 per cent of the patients were young adults who were diagnosed with alcoholic liver diseases. ...
