Japan''s Unicharm enters Indian sanitary napkin market

New Delhi, July 7 (PTI) Japanese FMCG firm Unicharm today announced its entry into the Indian feminine care market, which is currently dominated by multinational giants like Procter & Gamble and Johnson & Johnson.The company, which today launched its global sanitary napkin brand ''Sofy'', said it aims to capture around 10 per cent of the market in the next three years.As part of the marketing strategy, the firm has roped in Bollywood actress Prachi Desai as a brand ambassador to endorse its products."The Indian feminine care market is growing rapidly. ...
