Bhupen Hazarika awarded Padma Vibhushan

New Delhi, Jan 25 (ANI): The President of India today approved the conferment of Padma Awards for 2012 with veteran Assamese singer, poet and musician Late (Dr.) Bhupen Hazarika, receiving the Padma Vibhushan along with Cartoonist Late Mario De Miranda from Goa, Orthopedic and close aide of Anna Hazare, Dr. Kantilal Hastimal Sancheti from Maharashtra, Bureaucrat and former Governor of Uttar Pradesh, T V Rajeswar also being among the awardees of Padma Vibhushan.
